This is their story. The animals, that is. How they came to find their forever home, their journey and impact on their human parents and their inevitable goodbye. Told from the perspective of the author, Jeff Pillars, no punches are pulled and no emotions are spared. Often humorous, often bittersweet but always insightful and sometimes opinionated, "House of Goodbyes" is a celebration of the lives of a handful of the worlds faithful fallen.
