This book was born out of the observation that people appear to be drifting away from 'reading' in our contemporary society. People place less value to reading and give more attention to Electronic visuals. The resultant effect is reduced productivity, skill and efficiency in virtually all aspect of our National life and this has hampered our socio-economic development in recent time. The book seeks to expose some factors responsible for the dwindling value of the reading culture.
