This chapter highlighted the AU historic background, relevance, impact, and the relationship and criticality of its ability to affect internally the elemental variables of organizational behavior, change, culture, design, and development. The chapter focused on the problem and purpose statements, the nature of the study, the study's significance, scope, research questions, and the phenomenological research design.
