At the age of twenty-six, Skylar Hoyt feels like she has made it to a comfortable place in her life in her social, family, and business affairs until she finds a note in the attic space written to her and her brother, Scott, long ago intended for them to get after high school graduation, but due to the horrific car accident Sky had, it must have gotten look over then forgotten about. Skylar and Scott have also welcomed Jordie and two new family members into their lives and their homes and now, into their vacation because Sky could not bring herself to leave anyone behind for the summer. Cooper's Private Cabin Retreat was a long overdue vacation given to them by their mother and step-father that was now safe enough for them to take since the demise and fall of the organization known as The Exchange. Skylar plans to relax and enjoy some time away from the city; away from the programs; and just get back to the basics that she once loved of a simple life, but something out there plans to halt her new-found freedom with her new-found family. Is there a monster long forgotten still hiding among the shadows watching every move she makes or is her paranoia setting in? Either way, Sky prepares for one more face off with the evil inside.
