Jenna didn't believe in vampires and shifters and she definitely didn't believe she was the saviour of a race, but that changed when she met Alex. A vampire coming to terms with the death of his father and trying to fill a role he doesn't want, until he comes across the prophecy papers. Something he had thought were a myth but then realised that it is true and that Jenna is the key to fulfilling it. All he had to do now was convince her to work with him and his race to save not only themselves but all species.
