SIT ON MY LAP is a collection of modern real life teachings of a mother to her Daughter (in law) and Son. Such wisdom are common phenomenon in African culture as it's a duty of older women to teach younger girls and women how to behave in society and homes. Today, this trend has change due to advancement in modern science and; women are missing out on this traditional knowledge. Cultures across the world have similar ways. There are four chapters and each address a particualar area of life from dignity, mistreatment, fear and power of a woman. As the book opens, she begun opening their minds by giving a recap about life especially the tree of life. She adored her daughter as princess of the land of Luyomo and her son as prince. She gave her vision and projection on how her daughter can be a good woman in future. In conclusion, she call upon all women to rise up and lead the world.
