Dr. Elie Borowski's collective activities, which eventually lead to the creation of the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem, never had miniature Greek, Etruscan, and Roman bronzes as a central focus. Nevertheless, over decades of enthusiasm for classical cultures he created a comprehensive collection of silver and bronze that can stand shoulder to shoulder with other collections in terms of quality and cultural breadth. The available first volume contains 260 Greek and Roman bronzes. A further volume on Etruscan bronzes is in preparation. German text.
