There are numerous concerns regarding the representations of spatial data in GIS and RS. The visualization of geospatial phenomena depends on the nature of the objects and the capability of the representations to display certain characteristic of objects. Different geospatial phenomena portray different movement characteristics. This book focuses on the representation of moving objects (particularly walking people) in static maps (both the single and multiple), animation and the space-time cube. The book can bestow the readers to go through how moving objects can be represented in these representations for various applications. The book tries to identify the optimal representation of moving objects (walking people).
