Subramanian K
Rural administrators are usually trying to find way to get a sustainable development and solutions to the problems of rural areas. In practice, the structure and the strategic focus are specific for each village / block as well as for each focus group in it. This empirical study of rural youth migration identifies basic facets of migration among rural youth in a small vibrant village in Southern India. This study is a small step for positive experimentation with rural developmental and its sub constituents in general. Much is soon to change in the world (Indian rural scene) in this respect, for the truth is being revealed at an increasingly faster rate. With the blessings from the real masters, rural development efforts in this arena can bring much lost heritage and fame once again to the villages which produced educational, cultural, modernising and revolutionary stalwarts up to recent times. This reserach study exactly aims at this to create a conscious awareness among the community and to take appropriate steps to sustain the developmental efforts.
