The concepts of both mission and vision are discussed in chapter two. The third chapter then takes on arguments that a company may offer to validate the introduction or existence of such a statement. Proceeding, the fourth chapter examines reasons for mission and vision statements to be an impairing concept for a company. Chapter five concludes if mission and vision are worth it and stand as guidance found in a company statement or if the risk they entail outweighs their theoretical benefits.
