Corruption and Unethical Practices in Project Management in Nigeria: Project Management is Not Considered when Awarding Project There by Causing a Lot of Wastage and Mismanagement Sanusi Salihu

This work will help those in the building industry and those in the offices in charge of awarding any kind of contract especially construction which is subject to a lot of reviews due to force majure and artificial causes caused by those occupying the offices just because of their selfish interest. This work will also show that ethical values is fast diminishing in places and offices in charge of awarding contracts. It will also give a clue on how wastage and mismanagement is accrued in project that are not sopped to last more than their stipulated time. But by abiding by the ethical values and laws of project management it will serve as an eye opener that Nepotism does not help when considering who to award contract. This therefore will considerably reduce wastage embezzlement and mismanagement most especially to government contracts.
