Mutare City is the fourth largest city based in Zimbabwe. The discussions in the book have been done using human and gender dimensions in sports. This book is a record of the research carried out during Masters in Women's Law Degree. The information therein is a clear reflection of how women access and participate in sports in the city under review. It has been established that women face many challenges which in turn negate women's access to and participation in sports. The book also further makes recommendations which if followed would promote women's access to and participation in sports. Sport is crucial in establishing peace in the country. Therefore, it is very important that women gain access to sports so that they will be able to benefit from sports in a variety of ways. Women with disabilities are also supposed to gain access to sports as well. The Access to sports is key in the commercial sector as it has become a source of livelihood for many people. information in the book is very original as direct interviews were made with a view to establish this piece of work.
