Human Resource Development of Sabah: a Study on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (Tet), and Employment Opportunities for Spm School Leavers Chang Lee Hoon

The main purpose of the study was to develop a database of the TET courses and employment of skilled workers among the SPM school leavers in Sabah. Specifically, the study served to fulfil three main objectives namely, (i) to compile TET programmes for SPM school leavers offered by both the government and private sectors throughout the state of Sabah, (ii) to conduct occupational analysis in the three thrust economic sectors in the Sabah HALATUJU namely agriculture, tourism, and manufacturing, and (iii) to provide current information on TET programmes and employment opportunities to Sabah Online Education ? Technical & vocational Education, and Training (SOLE ? TET) database.
