School Libraries in Nanded Region: an Analytical Study Veer

The concept of education is dynamic. It does not begin at school, but bigins at birth of man and ends, not when he graduates, Post-graduates or acquires a Ph. D from the university, but at his death. Hence, education is a life-long process. Present study was done with the help of survey method. This method plays significant role in research as can be seen from the statement. "The survey method is one of the most effective and sensitive instrument of research?. survey can produce much needed knowledge?. The Researcher prepared questionnaires for the School librarian of the concerned schools. For collecting the data for the present study, the researcher visited the following Institutions (Secondary sources) and collected primary data on School Libraries in Nanded Region. The specific objectives of the study were: To trace the genesis and growth of School education in Maharashtra in general and Nanded region in particular, To survey information resources (collection), facilities & service available in the School libraries, To examine the nature & quantum of financial resources of these libraries & Suggest ways & means to improve the library services in the school libraries.
