Forest and Land degradation is the silent and often unseen course of poverty and death world over. A united world against the scourge of environmental degradation is a more secure world. Techniques and methodologies for detection and eradicating the scourge need to be designed, assessed and applied as often as possible. Unfortunately, this has not often been the case in third world countries like Nigeria. This writeup presents a model that could be used in areas with similar characteristics.
