?Farm Management? is designed to acquaint students with the basic concepts of farm management, production relationships & costs, economic principles applied in farm management, farm planning and budgeting,basic farm resources management and risk mitigating strategies This text book, Farm Management, is divided into six main chapters. Chapter one is an introductory and its purpose is to provide an overview of farm management by introducing the definitions, the objective and other concepts of farm management. The second chapter is concerned with production relationship focussing on the three major types of production relationships, i.e., Factor-Product relationship, Factor-Factor and Product-Product relationship. The third chapter describe the economic principles applied in farm management. The fourth chapter concerned with farm planning & budgeting. The fifth chapter will discuss about how to manage basic farm resource such land, capital, labour and Entrepreneurship. The final chapter deals with Managing Risk and Uncertainty in Agriculture.
