This study was an exploratory study of Brahmins student?s perception on the dalit movement and Ambedkar thoughts. An experience social reality of being Brahmin and challenges to their traditional identity by the constitutional norms in daily affairs guide into formation of differences with the beneficiaries? of constitutional safeguards and maintains prejudices in their personal lives. This research an attempt to gain perspective in the same. Also, the study would serve as document that would try and capture a particular phase in the evolutions of identity of a dominant community. Other documents dealing with the experiences of Brahmin students in educational institutions do not possess accuracy and maintained biases in their objectives. This study is an attempt to trace and document this process.
