Almost all business will have to consider how they will be affected and how they can mitigate and adapt to climate change. This is a startling realization for the ski industry, as it relies heavily on a well-functioning and predicable climate to bring low temperatures and snow. Without the dependable seasonal cold and snow, ski areas will undoubtedly lose money by having to make more snow, or moving elsewhere to find it.
