Radiotherapy may be an effective alternative to surgery or a valuable adjunct to surgery in loco regional treatment of Oral cancers. Rapidly dividing malignant cells are especially responsive to this form of therapy. It has found a definite role for itself in the management of several forms of cancer, for almost all stages of the disease and can be combined with all modalities of treatment. This manuscript is an attempt to highlight on various modalities in radiotherapy in management of oral cancer.
