Liquisolid technique is a new and promising method that can change the dissolution rate of drugs. It has been used to enhance dissolution rate of poorly water-soluble drugs. This technique was successfully applied for low dose water-insoluble drugs. However, formulation of the high dose insoluble-drugs as liquisolid tablets is one of the limitations of the liquisolid technique.
