This book measures the recent evolution of export competitiveness of Nigeria, a cross country analysis with other Sub-Saharan West African Countries between 1999-2009, using trade based indices of revealed comparative advantage (RCA). Nigeria embraced sustainable democracy in 1999, and the country has made significant reforms in her micro and macro-economic policies. This work is done to ascertain how well the country has fared since 1999 in her exportation as a means of economic development. The country is suggested to be among the best economies of the world on or before 2020. This work will therefore reveal the readiness of the country to actualize this dream.
