The principle purpose of this book is to fill the significant gap in knowledge concerning Women and ICT adoption in women managed Enterprises in sub-Saharan AFRICA. Little if any has been researched on factors influencing adoption of ICT in Women managed Enterprises. In another approach from gender perspective. Ideally the factors discussed can be conceptualized as social-economic, demographic and attitudinal in nature. Indeed they can as well seen as constraints. Literacy levels in ICT use is major barrier to ICT adoption. In addition access to resources of funds in form of credit. Of interest too is the fact that majority of women fear using the internet in their SMes due to fear of fraud and related online crimes. To some extent age of the entrepreneur had significant influence. Majority of women managing enterprises relies on a simple mobile that is not internet enabled due to their limited ICT literacy level-very basic.
