The purpose of this book is to explore the most pressing and critical challenges that affect the effectiveness of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in Qatar within the scope of national development strategies. The significance of this book lies in the exploration of almost a non-existent field of study that is rarely studied on a national or even regional level. The environmental forces and factors affecting the current educational policy were therefore explored to highlight specific policy-implementation gaps, as well as other procedural errors. Furthermore, in light of current statistics and data, this book specifies the necessities of founding a supervisory organization or establishment and shows the consequences of a lack of effective supervision and monitoring of VET institutions in Qatar.
