Effectiveness of a Package on Idioms: for the Students of Standard Viii of Cbse Affiliated School of Vadodara City Leena Chakranarayan

In the present study, it was found that the idiom knowledge of the students was very low. It can be observed that overall instructional idiom package was found to be effective for all the items that were taken in the idiom package. It was found that the students? scores improved in post test. All students showed improvement in their scores. Convert into English and convert into idioms was given to the students to see their all over knowledge of idioms. None of the students could attempt it correctly in the pre-test. But students attempted it in post-test. And they gave correct answer. Some student could not attempt it in pretest but they attempted it in post test and gave right answer. The idiom package was found to be more successful for the convert into idioms. This book provides a clear guidance about the objectives of the strong major findings of pre-test and post test. Finding of the study showed that students of standard VIII of CBSE affiliated school have faced difficulty in learning idioms. Through explanation and package they understood the idiom and know how to use idiom in their real life.
