This book is about a medicinal plant called Catharanthus roseus which is commonly known as Periwinkle. This plant is well-known for its anti-cancerous properties. Alongwith a wide range of medicinal uses, this plant is a potential source of therapeutic agents especially in the treatment of childhood leukemia. The vegetative and reproductive growth of this plant is affected by important plant hormones such as Gibberellins and kinetin in isolation as well as in combination.
