Mannich reaction is a multi-component condensation of a primary or secondary amine and having an active hydrogen compound and affords aminomethylated products. In this book, an effort is put to synthesize about 40 Mannich bases from various glutarimides. It also involved the spectroscopic,elemental,antimicrobial,toxicity and QSAR studies has been done.
