This research attempts to answer the question Why GIS projects fail in the majority of Yemeni government agencies. A survey was created that was used to collect data from GIS departments in some Yemeni government agencies.. The results of the work indicated that majority of GIS projects in Yemeni government agencies fail and there are many factors cause this failure which has been mentioned within this the research .
