Tuula-Hannele Ikonen?s book 'BACK TO FAMILY WELFARE' is important and interesting and touches the quest for identity and the return to religion in post Soviet era societies. The movement that this work is focused on is the Messianic Jewish Movement that emerged in Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet rule (1989) and its independence (1991). This book describes of it how Messianic Judaism emerged and how Jewish women produced a vision to contribute family welfare. The work describes in a unique way how the modern Messianic Jewish Movement functions like a bridge between Rabbinic Judaism and Christianity.
