Declining water level due to over-exploitation has become an important issue in many places of India. The application of the integrated hydrogeological investigations and multivariate statistical approach for the interpretation of small and complex data-matrix from water level conditions provides an important input into the best water resources management strategy. This book presents the necessity and usefulness of integrated hydrogeological studies and multivariate statistical assessments to get better information about the water level fluctuation, the consumption and management of the resources in environmentally sensitive areas.
