The housing crisis in the Kurdistan Region is said to be a chronic issue. It was mainly started in 2003, when the population noticeably increased and the region saw an economic boom. Ever since this time, housing has been considered as the most effective business indicator in the region. Similarly, in Dubai housing has represented the majority of business activities. Now, the Kurdistan Region is considered as the fastest growing region in the Middle East.
