Communication Gap Regarding Citrus Production in Punjab, Pakistan: Poor Linkage Between Extension Field Staff and Citrus Growers Saleem Ashraf

Citrus is the leading fruit of Pakistan especially the kinnow cultivar which is famous in the entire world because of its fascinating taste and quality. Despite of that production of citrus in Pakistan is almost half of its potential. Several factors are responsible for this tragic loss but communication gap between Extension Field Staff and citrus growers is vital. This gap hinders the awareness and adoption of improved production practices among growers. In this book various factors responsible for the existing gap have been probed. To attain up to the mark production, existing gap need to be eliminated. Further research is also needed for better plan. This book is aimed at facilitation of graduate and post graduate students to conduct more research and formulate better plan and strategies to reduce the gap for potential production acquirement.
