FM radio is not a recent phenomenon in our lives, but this book points out the linguistic exploitation that is induced by the Radio Jockey (RJ) in the FM radio channels of Bangladesh. Language, as a discourse, has its own momentum and dynamics. It changes and causes change. This book locates the diversity of language used in FM radio and its effect on the most significant listener ? the youth. The language of FM radio appears as a hybrid language, and apart from mixing of words it is distinct in its intonation pattern.
