Carrots are grown from seeds, so their flowering and seed setting is significant. Being a biennial, cultivar Early Nantes produces flowers in the second growing season. Thus,ways to modify its growth and development so as to convert it into an annual would be quite challenging. The role of plant growth regulators is explored and results are very satisfying.
