Change is inevitable. The success of manufacturing systems heavily depends on their capability of following the current progress so called "the change". It is now very obivous that the change will one way or another evoke itself to any manfuacturing system. Willingly or unwillingly that has to be followed both with a cost to bear. It is also the fact that if the change is not managed, it somehow finds a way to manage. If it is managed then the cost of aligning manufacturing systems to current developments is under control and well less than it is occuring when being managed. Being able to manage the change assures, better quality, faster production, efficient and effective manufacturing environment as well as responsive system. Therefore, this book introduces a promising quantifiable methodology to measure the change management capability of manufacturing systems supported with a case study.
