The Effect of Pre-sowing Magnetic Treatment of Okra Seed on Growth: Magnetic Field Treatment of Okra Seed Naheed Akhtar

Different chemicals, fertilizers and stimulus are used for boosting productivity of plants. Their application causes the contamination of raw materials for food production with toxins that is dangerous for human health. Therefore, we need developing and implementing new methods for quality assurances and for safety purposes. Magnetic Field treatment is eco-friendly. The results in this study indicated that magnetic treatment prior to sowing applied to dry okra seeds enhanced the growth of okra plant and improved their pod yield and other parameters. Hence, magnetic treatments prior to sowing exerted positive effect on growth and yield parameters of okra crop.
