Parasitic infection is the most prevalent among rural communities in warm and humid regions and where water, hygiene and sanitation facilities are inadequate. The infection also occurs in urban areas where the water supplies are not enough to drink and use, and in the absence of environmental sanitation,and etc. The result has significant value in the prevention of intestinal parasitic infections with the finding of risk factors in the school compound,and environment as well as households. It gives a clue to design strategies of water, sanitation and hygiene practices at the school and community level. The article also shares in how to implement the deworming with available findings at school.
