This book offers a fascinating account of the Bike Messenger world and how it changed over time, particularly as a result of the 9/11 attacks and the Bush crisis. The work is testimony of a thorough understanding of the relationships between major socio-political transformations and the marginalization of people who tend to be romanticized by outsiders but in fact are faced with shocking working circumstances.
