The picture produced is that of a beautiful cultural and social interaction, blend as well as distinction. The study conducted in the village of Barumal, a small settlement in the Valsad district, narrates the story of migration, change in lifestyle and subsequent variation in the social pattern of the village focusing on the phenomenon of diffusion of culture.
