Interrelationship Between Chironomid, Water and Soil: Biomonitoring Assessment Sudip Chatterjee

The book is focused on the discussion of water quality of selected sites of Durgapur area in terms of density and abundance of chironomid population in correlation with physico-chemical parameters of water and soil. Six physical and eleven chemical water quality parameters and four soil fertility assessable chemical parameters were measured in four selected sites along with density and abundance of chironomid population. It contained the detailed discussions of correlation within all parameters and also with Chironomid population. In short it is an essay of a biomarker selection considering all parameters and conditions.
