The Ethiopia commodity exchange was established to revolutionize Ethiopia agricultural and transform the economy through a dynamic, efficient and transparent marketing system. properly regulated and implemented , commodity exchange can contribute significantly to the achievement of a country?s economic and developmental goals and strengthen the bargaining power of members. Hence, the main objective of the study was to assess the opportunities and challenges of ECX for the members of the agricultural product export. The target population of the study was Ethiopia commodity exchange members particularly the exporters.
