Morphological Image Enhancement Avala Ramesh

Morphological operation deals with the analysis and manipulation of structured diagrams. These operations are deployed mainly for manipulating image objects that would results in the motive- enhancing the image, change the pixel color, zooming effect etc. In this project three morphological operations that would enhance the image sharpness are surveyed. The first of those is Dilation which bridges the missing edges in the image; the next is Erosion, removes unnecessary information and then finally thinning which transforms edges of multiple pixel width to single pixel width.
