Over a years, molar distalization has emerged as an useful treatment modality in non- extraction case management. The new developments in mechanotherapy and changes in concepts have reduced the need for extraction. Therefore, the aim of this book is to enable the clinician to know most importantly the indications, contraindications, treatment timing and diagnostic criterias for distalization as well to have an overview of the various distalizing appliances. This book encompasses the recent trends in the molar distalization present in the armamentarium of an orthodontist.
