Effect of Tillage Practices on Soil Moisture Conservation in Vertisol Bhagade Sachin

The book will be helpful to both researchers and students who wants to carry tillage operations to prepare a fine seed bed for sowing crops. It covers detail study of the effect of tillage practices on moisture content. It also gives knowledge of cost economics of tillage practices. In this experiment , tillage practices like ploughing was done across the slope up to 40cm depth (T1), up to depth30cm( T2), up to 20cm depth(T3) and up to 10cm depth (T4) i.e. control treatment . Design is split plot with three replications. Replication wise soil samples were collected by 10 days interval at 15cm ,30cm and depth and the soil moisture was recorded.
