Zooplankton in the Mediterranean Sea and the River Nile, Egypt: Dynamics of Zooplankton Community in the Connection Between the Mediterranean Sea and the River Nile at Rosetta Branch Hamdy Abo-taleb

The present work deals with the changes in the Ecology (environmental conditions which include physico-chemical conditions and the biological features) of the Rosetta Estuary of Nile River and its effect on the dynamics of zooplankton organisms in this rapid changing area. Sampling of both water and zooplankton was carried out monthly along one year from April, 2007 to April, 2008. Sampling was undertaken from the littoral and mid stream sites (two stations at east and west of estuary mouth in the Mediterranean Se, one at the entrance of estuary and the remaining five stations in the estuary). The work includes photo graphic cataloge to the fauna of this estuary.
