Oral health is an integral part of general health. maintaining oral health is a systematic process. conducting a descriptive epidemiological survey to asses the oral health behaviour and status, will provide a baseline data to plan a comprehensive oral health care program for target population. the canvas of India is colourful with people from different backgrounds and different levels of social structure. the tribes of India are denied from most of the privileges and facilities provided by the government. baseline data from such studies would help towards equitable distribution of health care.
