East Godavari district is high endemic area in Andhrapradesh, India. Among 52 lacs of population in the district 15436 cases in and around annually reported. So there is a need to find out the relation between socio-demographic characteristics and morbidity profile among reported filarial cases. The cases are more reported in weaver?s community and stagnant water sources. so i have opted this topic to study.
