Sibutramine is anorexic drug acting by serotonin neurotransmitter. But Sibutramine is recently banned in various countries due to few life threatening cardiac side effects. Sibutramine is one of the possible adulterant of the slimming Herbal medicinal Products. The purpose of this was to identify and quantify the Sibutramine in the Slimming Herbal medicinal products in less time with accurate result. This method will be useful for the routine analysis of illegally added Sibutramine in the Herbal Medicinal Products.
