The Possible Impact of the Rotterdam Rules on Cmc Chen Xiyan

In this book, provisions of the Rotterdam Rules and Chinese Maritime Code are analyzed and compared, and the possible impact on CMC if China accede to the Rotterdam Rules is disccussed. The conclusion is that CMC can be modernized, clarified, and harmonized if the provisions of the Rotterdam Rules are incorporated into CMC. From this work, peoples who are interested in Chinses Maritime Law and other laws and regulations can get useful information about Chinese laws and shipping policies.
