Nutrient deficiencies play havoc with the sustainable plant nutrition and exert bad impacts on the environmental health. Potassium (K) is an essential macro-nutrient required for the normal growth and development of plants. Adequate K nutrition is known to sustain chillies production. Pakistan has the largest chillies market of Asia. This field study highlights the positive effects of soil applied K on the growth, biomass allocation and K accumulation of chillies.
