This book presents new idea of galvoscanner position control that can be used to various applications: target tracers, material processing machines or medical imagers. The controller uses hybrid (digital-analogue) approach along with micro-controllers to achieve its goals: low power consumption, simple electrical circuit and very high performance. Designed control system has been build and verified with real galvoscanners (LSK 040EF) proving that the ideas and used algorithms are correct. Finally a special, controlled power supply module have been added to drastically improve efficiency of the system. The power supply module also have been build and verified in reality. Presented control system has been designed with extensive use of computer simulation and data visualization software. Author formulated and tested functional model of galvoscanner that was needed to perform accurate simulation. This book should be valuable source of information for designers and engineers working with galvoscanners, as well as for those who want to extend theirs knowledge about galvoscanners, simulation techniques and galvoscanner control systems in general.
